Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has further strengthened its renewable energy portfolio with the commissioning of a 50 MW solar-wind hybrid power project in Khavda, Gujarat. The project, developed through the company’s stepdown subsidiary Adani Renewable Energy Three Limited, became operational on August 8, 2025, after receiving the necessary clearances at 7:29 a.m.
With this latest addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable generation capacity has risen to an impressive 15,865.5 MW, reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading green energy producers.
Hybrid projects like this combine solar and wind power generation to ensure more consistent energy output, reducing dependency on a single source and improving grid stability — a key step toward India’s clean energy goals.
On the markets, AGEL shares closed at ₹936.70, down ₹20.85 (-2.18%) on the day.
